Visual Identity Design: AYC

Design Overview

The AYC visual identity project focused on developing a cohesive logo system that reflects the brand’s commitment to convenience, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The objective was to establish a clear and recognizable visual identity that represents AYC as a central hub for beauty professionals across hair, barber, nail, tattoo, and spa categories.

The challenge was to visually communicate the breadth of AYC’s offerings while maintaining clarity and consistency within a single mark. The final identity supports a seamless shopping experience and reinforces AYC’s role as a trusted partner for salons and professionals.

Design Approach

The logo concept was built around a clock motif, symbolizing the value AYC places on its customers’ time. The letters “AYC” were integrated into twelve segments, referencing the structure of a clock while avoiding literal clock hands to emphasize timeless quality over urgency.

By removing traditional time indicators, the design shifts focus toward efficiency, reliability, and thoughtful service. The visual identity serves as a representation of AYC’s promise to support salons through streamlined services, including shipping, delivery, and customer support, while respecting each professional’s unique daily rhythm.
